1. Each FSFP member will be
responsible for completing monthly surveys (each
requiring approximately 10-15 minutes to complete)
concerning their most recent fishing trip (if one was
taken during the month). His or her opinions regarding fisheries management (e.g.,
regulations, closures) and policy issues will also be
recorded via these surveys.
2. The surveys will be
conducted on-line, so each FSFP member must have
Internet access and a current email address. When
registering to participate in the FSFP panel, each
person must provide his or her current email address
and the address of his or her permanent residence.
The residential address will be used in our
models solely as the origin of fishing trips
reported by the FSFP member; it will not be shared with
any other parties or used for any other purposes.
3. Each FSFP member must
inform the survey administrators (by sending a message
to rmrc@msu.edu) if he or she decides not to renew the
Florida license that allows him or her to fish in
saltwater in Florida.
4. Each FSFP member is
responsible for notifying the survey administrators if
his or her email address changes.
5. Each FSFP member is
invited to assist the survey administrators by
recruiting new panel members and encouraging other
saltwater anglers (e.g., fishing buddies) to register
for the FSFP.
