1. Members will have unique opportunities to share their opinions regarding a wide range of saltwater fisheries management and policy issues. Their viewpoints will be taken into consideration when the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission makes fisheries management and policy decisions.

2. Data collected via the monthly surveys of panel members will be used: 1) To develop models to estimate the economic impact and value of saltwater fishing in Florida, 2) To assess the return-on-investment in saltwater hatcheries in Florida, 3) To estimate fishing effort and catch rates in Florida, and 4) To describe the behaviors (e.g., conservation) of saltwater anglers in Florida.
